Workplace Mentoring
Barranggirra program supports completing qualifications and success in employment
Bara Barang provides Aboriginal Workplace Mentoring to support Apprentices, Trainees, School-Based Trainees and students studying a vocational qualification.
For Young People
For Aboriginal people in an Apprenticeship, Traineeship, School-Based Traineeship or enrolled as a Student studying a vocational qualification (must be a ‘Smart & Skilled’ listed course).
- One of our Aboriginal Mentors will provide support and guidance as you progress through your work and study.
- Our Mentors meet with you at work, in the community or at home and keep in touch about how you are going
- Their cultural support, career advice, understanding of workplaces and knowledge about overcoming challenges will help you achieve goals
- We deliver the program across the Central Coast and the Lake Macquarie regions
